Welcome to the home page for the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) for Arrayed Waveguide Grating (AWG) modules. The MSA Group provides a forum for companies involved in the supply, development and manufacture of AWGs to interact and define common standards for its products.

The MSA defines common mechanical features including dimensions and mounting interface as well as electrical characteristics, such as heater resistance, pin function definitions, digital interface and software commands for devices with up to 48 optical channels.
